Widdifield and Pickering Cups JGS and AJGA (P) Status
You'll note in the schedule above that the Jamieson Tour has two 2 day events; The Widdifield and Pickering Cups. Boy and girl winners of these two events will be awarded 1 Performance Star by the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) provided the minimum field size of 40 boys and 12 girls is met. Participants must meet AJGA eligibility criteria. Please cut and paste the following link into your browser for more information on AJGA eligibility. http://www.ajga.org/Getstarted/starthere.asp#Who
Additionally, results will be included in the Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS), an international junior ranking system.

2014 Exemption Changes
Please see the following modified exemption criteria for 2014. The list of exempt players will be updated shortly.

Junior and Collegiate Golfers must qualify to play on the tour through either a one day qualifier or through performance the previous year.
The top 6 Junior girls and the top 40 Junior boys are “exempt” and automatically qualify (provided they continue to be age eligible).
Exempt Junior Golfers graduating to the Collegiate Division will be exempt for the Collegiate Division. Additionally the top 3 women and top 6 men in the Collegiate division will be exempt.
Additionally there is 1 “sponsor’s exemption” granted and 1 exemption granted to the boy champion of the Southland Junior Tour. All others must qualify through the qualifier. Approximately 40 junior boys and 10 junior girls will qualify through the qualifier. The exact number of qualifiers will be determined by the Tour Committee based on the number of golfers attending the qualifier and qualifying scores.
IF YOU ARE AN EXEMPT PLAYER YOU MUST ASSIST WITH THE QUALIFIER ON MAY 25TH AS A WALKING SCORER OR SPOTTER UNLESS YOU ARE PARTICIPATING IN A BONA FIDE JUNIOR TOURNAMENT ON THE SAME DATE. FAILURE TO ASSIST WITH THE QUALIFIER WILL RESULT IN FORFEITURE OF YOUR POSITION ON THE TOUR.

Jamieson Absence Notification Policy- Modified to 5 Days notice
It is very important that you notify us by e-mail at least 5 DAYS IN ADVANCE if you can not make it to a tour event. (earlier notification is greatly appreciated) We have a list of alternates who are very eager to play in available spots so it's essential that we are notified of your planned absence.
As mentioned, notifications will only be accepted by e-mail.
The penalty for failing to notify is a warning for the first infraction and suspension from one event for your 2nd infraction (barring exceptional circumstances).
